Style it Out with Pin it Co.

Have you heard?? Pin it Co. is offering a styling workshop on March 8th and I am so excited to show you my top styling tips, specifically for mantles and coffee tables! I want to offer you a way to create a high design look in your own home!

Our store associates will be there as well to help you with those styling needs! We will be breaking down how to create levels, proper scale and layers to achieve that ideal farmhouse "lived in" look!

You can also bring in photos of your own problem areas and myself and our associates can provide you will the styling suggestions we use when staging displays in our own store!

This is going to be an incredible event, and as a sneak-peak I wanted to show you a mantle I styled out in our store! We will be styling a different look at the event, but this gives you an idea of the sort of "Pinterest-worthy" styles you will learn to create by the end of the night!

I went for a large focal piece in this style with an abstract city painting. I centered this element and placed my other items around it!

I typically use candlesticks, but this time I wanted to switch it up and use these tall vessels and fill them with faux cherry blossoms! To vary the height of these, I elevated the far left one with a stack of books! You know how I love my vintage books!

On the other side, I simply staged a corbel and old soda bottle! I loved the element of character it added to this style!

Finally, this draping hops greenery brightened the mantle and I love the way it draped from various spots!

Under the mantle, I staged blankets and pillows in this natural jute basket! I love the look of these baskets by mantles and fireplaces, and they make a great storage spot for those cozy blankets and pillows!

Home style is something I love so much because it allows me an opportunity to create something that tells the story of a family and their home. I cannot wait to share the tips and tricks I have learned over the years with all of you!
