If you remember, last year I was able to style a home going on the market with The Wylie Team! It was one of my favorite projects of 2019 and so when Stacey Wylie asked me to style this new home going on the market soon, I was so excited! This home had some seriously beautiful features, but just needed a little love. I was so glad to be the one to do it! So, let's get to it! I want to take you on a tour of this amazing home!
But first... you have GOT to see some quick before and after photos! I snapped a few shots of what the home looked like before so you can have an idea what I was working with when it came to re-styling!
One of my favorite things about this home was the open living room! It gave me the opportunity to really do so much in this space!
I fell in love with the fume hood in this kitchen! It has made me want to add one to our kitchen staging section in the warehouse for filming!
Check out these beautiful details by the stove! Simple, but stunning!
Seriously, this kitchen just kept getting more beautiful! I loved the bare wood cabinets and brick backsplash! Of course I had to add in my love for white plates!
And guys-- check out this sink! I don't think I could be as mad washing dishes with such a beautiful, open window!
Into the non-traditional? Me too! This fun island was so different than what you usually see, but definitely one of my favorite additions to the kitchen of this home!
One of my most-given tips is to think practical when it comes to home decor! What are things that you actually use in your home? Use them to style with as well! This pot and pan shelf makes it easier to grab your cooking supplies without them constantly banging against each other, but it also looks so sweet as a wall decor statement near the kitchen!
Another space I LOVED in this home (are you picking up on a theme here?) was this fireplace + mantle! It had so much potential and it was so fun to watch it come to life with just a little color.
This home didn't have just one fireplace + mantle area... but TWO! Near the entryway of the home was another mantle and fireplace that we were able to style and bring to life as well! I was super pleased with the way both of these turned out!
Not too far over was this sweet little nook! Perfect for a short sit-- and now, just to look at! How beautiful is this built-in?
The bedroom of this home was serving all the cozy vibes! Between the open windows that let in natural light and the soft throws I added, this is a place I would love to take a nap!
This home overall just really blew me away! It is amazing what a day's worth of work can do to a place that may have simply just lost its way over the years. I hope you all enjoyed seeing a full styled home tour again! Be on the lookout for more in the future!
